Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Rafael Cordero
Dr. Rafael Cordero received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Francisco Marroquin University in Guatemala City, Guatemala, his hometown. He later moved with his family to Lexington, Kentucky, where he earned his certificate in Periodontics from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. During his time there, he was awarded a professorship within the graduate Periodontics program.
Family ties brought Dr. Cordero to Palm Beach County, where he established both his family and his private practice. Today, he proudly serves Palm Beach County with convenient locations in Palm Beach Gardens and Wellington. He remains actively involved in outdoor activities, continuing education, and leading local study clubs focused on advancing periodontal and implant dentistry.
Throughout his career, Dr. Cordero has pursued extensive continuing education and advanced surgical training. He has participated in advanced surgical courses and internships at the University of Miami and the Medical College of Georgia. He has been awarded an Associate Fellowship from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and maintains active membership in both local and national periodontal and implant organizations.
Dr. Cordero is also the founder of the Study Club of the Palm Beaches and has lectured nationally and internationally. In addition, he has participated in dental mission trips to Guatemala, providing periodontal and surgical care to underserved communities. He continues to stay involved in oral health research as a clinical examiner and principal investigator, reflecting his commitment to advancing patient care and staying at the forefront of periodontal and implant treatment.

I am a detail-oriented dental hygienist with over 6 years of experience, known for providing thorough, compassionate care and making patients feel truly comfortable. Born in Cuba and fluent in both English and Spanish, I am passionate about educating patients and helping them build healthy habits that support long-term oral health. Outside the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and creating meaningful moments together.
Dental Assistant
Miki Andrade
I am a dedicated dental assistant with over 21 years of experience, including 8 years in endodontics and 13 years in periodontics alongside Dr. Cordero. Originally from Ecuador, I am bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing me to connect with and support a diverse patient community while providing exceptional care. Outside of the office, I enjoy cycling, hiking, and staying active while maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

I am a dental professional with 7 years of experience, bringing a well-rounded skill set supporting both clinical and administrative aspects of dental care. As a Mexican American who is fluent in both English and Spanish, I take pride in building meaningful connections with patients from all backgrounds and helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment. I am also an aspiring dentist committed to continuing my growth in the field. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, cooking new dishes, and exploring new places.
